ELP Laser Turntable: plays vinyl records with CD quality sound. No Needle, No Wear!

Japanese:

ELP Laser Turntable

Dear Analog Music Lovers,

Since 1989, ELP of Japan has been the sole producer of the Laser Turntable (LT). The LT lets music lovers around the world enjoy their vinyl record collections while eliminating the damage that comes with traditional turntable needles. No needle, no wear!

Due to different philosophies and policies, companies in the USA and Japan refused to pursue laser technology because:
  • In the 1980s, we entered the era of Compact Discs, which diluted interest in vinyl records
  • It was difficult to reduce the production costs of laser technology
ELP has been working exclusively on the Laser Turntable to revitalize the music captured on vinyl records. From the beginning we have overcome several obstacles, including:
  • Product Development
  • Manufacturing and Product Reliability Improvement
  • Marketing and Sales, in spite of the onset of the "CD generation"
Now it is time for ELP to develop a New LT Model, which we will be announcing this autumn with scheduled shipping starting in January of 2011. The new model will cost about 20% higher than our current models.

To utilize our remaining stock of existing parts and components, the current LT models will be offered at the special reduced prices below!
